STEP FORWARD MICHIGAN MICHIGAN'S HARDEST HIT FUND PROGRAM
Re-opening, May 1, 2018

The State of Michigan has received additional funding from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to reopen it’s Hardest Hit Fund Program.

Michigan residents who are delinquent on their mortgage or property taxes should be encouraged to apply if,

• They own and live in their home
• Have less than $10,000.00 in their bank accounts
• Have enough income to pay future mortgage payments and property taxes
• Had a qualifying event that caused the delinquency, such as; Unemployment, Underemployment, Death, Medical Event, or Divorce
